Note to our current & future employees & more.

These weeks we have been thinking. We tried to do better at listening, reflecting, watching and reading anything we could get our hands on. Our company culture and our values sit at the core of what we do. While a small decentralised team now, we strive to grow with values of equality and justice, representing many nationalities, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations and walks of life.

As founders and as a team, we are committed to taking the following actions, we might not succeed from the start but we’ll keep trying to get better.

Acknowledge and speak up when someone is being discriminated or is threatened. Actively listen, learn and educate ourselves about other’s experiences. Challenge our own biases, categorising and stereotyping is never the answer. Challenge others’ biases. The tough conversations sometimes happen over family gatherings or when we pop in for dinner over a friend of a friend. Educate ourselves from alternative sources of history books or from books/ films/ essays written by the minorities — they might have a different angle than what we’ve been taught.
Inspire others.
